Ordering Parts for Stock
PROCEDURE FOR ORDERING PARTS OR MATERIALS
(OTHER THAN PROJECTS & SERVICE CALLS)
Occasionally the technician/installer may feel a particular item may be helpful to expedite their performance in completing their assignments (example: particular wire, certain tool or components not carried in FDC stock). The technician/installer should then:
# Fill out an “FDC Employee Request Form.” The form should contain the following information:
## description of part
## valid part number
## source for the part
## pricing information
## explanation of why we should obtain item
# Form is to be given to MANAGER for consideration and review. If the request is deemed valid, the form will then be passed on to parts for order. (”’NOTE”’: Verbal requests for such items will not be honored. All requests must be in writing or email and approved by management).
