It is ultimately the duty of management to ensure that installations are pulled off properly and professionally. While the install team does the bulk of the work, it is up to the branch manager to ensure that installs completed in their area are completed properly, and that the customer site is left in satisfactory condition.
It is also the responsibility of the branch manager to ensure that all technicians working underneath them provide proper information and communication to HQ daily. While working on Installs, a Daily Inspection Report should be completed on-site to account for what gets accomplished each day. This form gives a summary of staff working on the site, time keeping, materials used, and percentage of the job completed that day. These reports are to be sent to “Installs” email before leaving job site for the day.
